15 National - Veronica Marin

    Hometown:  Tulcea, Romania

Coach Veronica Marin has been coaching in our Club since 2015.  Her goal is to help players improve their volleyball skills and develop a passion for the game. Her coaching style focuses on working to help players elevate their skills to the next level, along with developing a competitive mindset that will help them be successful both on and off the court. Work hard and give your best effort to Coach Marin and you will be rewarded with her beautiful smile!

Apart from being an outstanding coach, Coach Marin was also an outstanding volleyball player.  Known as “The Romanian Wall” for her blocking, she was an outstanding collegiate player for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Here are some of her accolades:

15 Regional Plus - Wendy Cooper

     Hometown:   Davis, California

Coach Wendy Buchanan Cooper. is new to our club this season.  What we are most excited about Coach Wendy is the experience and the high level of coaching she is bringing to our club. Coach Wendy strives to increase a player’s ability in the fundamentals of the game in order to help them go to the next level.

She started coaching club in California when she was still in college and has had the opportunity to coach various age groups. She coached 3 years at Texas Military Institute in San Antonio where she was the Junior Varsity Head Coach for 2 years, Head Freshman Coach for 2 years and the Head Coach of 6th and 7th grade for 2 years. Volleyball has always been part of her life. Coach Wendy started playing club volleyball in Junior High at the age of 13. She participated in Junior Nationals three times at age of 14, 16 and 17 and her team was ranked 10th in the Nation. She received numerous honors during her playing career: All League, All league 1st team, All Conference, All Tournament Team and was District Champions 3 years.  Her High School team also went to the State Tournament 3 times. She was recruited to play volleyball at Sacramento State University.

15 Regional - Kyndra McCrillis

     Hometown:  Harrisburg, Arkansas

Coach Kyndra McCrillis began coaching with LRJ in 2018.  Last season she did a tremendous job instructing and developing one of our 14’s team. Coach Kyndra is energetic and always seeking to learn as much as possible about the game of volleyball.  She is a big proponent on team building as well as working on volleyball IQ! She strongly believes that it is not all about aces, kills, and blocks but about teamwork and "smart" plays that WIN games! 

Coach Kyndra has coached volleyball since 2016 coaching the 5th grade school volleyball team. Coach Kyndra played in Northeast Arkansas where she received All conference/All state honors. In her Junior Year, her team was the runner-up in the State Championship.

15 Regional - Shelby Jackson

Hometown:  Sherwood,  AR

Coach Shelby Jackson has been coaching with Little Rock Juniors since 2018.  She previously coached with Chaos Club out of Saline County. Coach Shelby started playing volleyball at the age at 12, playing for Sylvan Hills High School and Little Rock Juniors. She started out as a defensive specialist and switched to setter during high school.

Her favorite part about volleyball is the competition on the court and the relationships off the court. The most important part for her as coach is to have fun while learning, as one can always learn and grow, as a player and an individual. 

15 Regional - Savannah Cooper

   Hometown:   San Antonio, Texas

Coach Savannah Cooper is very excited to start her first season with Little Rock Juniors as a coach in our 15’s division. Her coaching style emphasizes positive attitude and effort as well as strong fundamental development.  She expects hard work on and off the court. Coach Savannah started playing volleyball in 7th grade. She played club volleyball for 5 years at San Antonio Elite in San Antonio, Texas. Her high school team, Bandera High School were district champions several times and did extremely well in the playoffs. Coach Savannah started coaching at different summer camps and clinics. She enjoys coaching very much and has served as an assistant coach for different teams in age groups 12 through 16.
